work

I have been passionate about art & craft and have completed art-based courses.

All pieces are made in some thrown on the potters wheel and some hand building. All are glazed by my hand in glazes developed by me.

Each body of work is designed around usability and simple beauty, highlighting the inherent beauty of objects that are made by hand.

Ceramic repair/

Kintsugi

Kintsugi is a Japanese art form where broken pottery is repaired using lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. It emphasizes the beauty of imperfection and the concept of embracing flaws as part of an object’s history.

  • Premium/Modern Kintsugi

The techniques and aesthetics may vary between the two approaches.

  • Glass

It involves repairing cracked or broken glass objects using a similar approach but with a focus on glass materials.

  • Revet Repair

Using metal staple and pin to join broken pottery.
